My good friend Izzy went on a wee cycling trip to the Isle of Skye the other week and got these delightful snaps.

 

 

Senegalese Bike Trickery

Pretty good right? Not according to one pernickety YouTube user who comments "too bad his foot hits the ground twice at about 2:00" or the rather disinterested old boy that walks passed at about 3.08.

Plank Fenders (a.k.a. wooden mudguards)

 

Lovely little numbers from the Pittsburgh based Clank Works. They're awfully sustainable and stuff being made from bamboo fiber and waterproffed with a vegetable based penetrating oil!!
